Conversions and Constants is a workbook of Excel spreadsheets for converting measurement units. For instance, one can convert temperatures in degrees centigrade to degrees fahrenheit, inches to meters, or pints to liters. The conversions range from every day uses to detailed scientific units such as viscosities and diffusivities. There are 34 measurement categories(time, length, speed, viscosity, etc) and within each category there are 5 to 30 different different units that the measurements can be expressed as (ie. seconds, hours, days, centuries, etc.). The workbook also contains useful information about scientific constants and the Periodic Table of Elements. MICROSOFT Excel 2000 or 97 must already be installed on an IBM compatible computer for this spreadsheet program to work. (Excel 95 format is not available at this time).
